The NYC Digital Elite got together courtesy of Jumpoff TV to discuss the biggest beefs of 2010. From Jay-Z and Hammer to Nicki Minaj and Lil' Kim to Lebron James and the Cavaliers. I got kind of emotional explaining my disgust for how Lebron left Cleveland. LOL... check it out

The Michael Vick Comeback
Yeah yeah yeah... I know we've been slacking over here with the Sista Sports posts. I recently did a year in review shoot with Jump Off TV and we discussed the Michael Vick comeback. We named him as having the biggest comeback of 2010. Check out the video:

I want NBA Jam for the Wii
As much as I talk about how much I love my Wii on my blogs and on Twitter Nintendo and all the game making companies should have me on speed dial lined u to send me games when they come out. The only sports game I have with my Wii currently is Madden but its seems as if EA needs to go ahead and add NBA Jam to my collection. The game not only features athletes but you can also play with rappers and producers as well. Check out Rocnation Artist J. Cole being featured as well as Producer 9th Wonder.

Serena Williams Covers Hamptons Mag
Even though she's not participating in this year's U.S. Open due to injury, right before the festivities began she hosted an event in NYC to celebrate her Hamptons Magazine cover and help build awareness about Russell Simmons D.E.F. (Diamond Empowerment Fund.) Both were in attendance.
Ever since these pictures came out everyone has been talking about possible plastic surgery she may have gotten done. I can't confirm or deny but I know she looks gorgeous and I told her so when I interviewed her on the carpet so whatever surgeon she used should be very proud of his work. Check out this video where I caught up with both Serena and Russell.

Eb sits down with Mike Hill from ESPN
If you aren't familiar with my other blog, I recently started this series called "Eating w/ Eb" where I go to different restaurants in the city with industry tastemakers, socialites, athletes, musicians, etc and chop it up over great food since I'm a foodie. I posted this on EbtheCeleb.com but since it's sports related figured I might as well post it here as well. In Episode 3 of Eating w/ Eb, Mike Hill gives me his predictions for this year's Superbowl. We also talk about ESPN has incorporated hip hop and what he has going on outside of ESPN. Check it out:

Eb loves Shaq Vs.
I'm not too fond of Shaq but he definitely knows how to put on a good show. The second season of Shaq vs. has been 20x better than the first season. In this week's episode Shaq tackles a sport that is near and dear to my heart. Track & Field against Rudy Gay. Wait til you see how skinny Shaq's legs are. He definitely lost some weight and did some training for this one because I've never seen him run up and down the court this fast LOL. Check it out

Lingerie football changes it's focus
I was extremely skeptical when this whole "thing" started to erupt being a huge fan of football, it even took me knowing a couple AFL players before I could watch Arena. I don't like football being poked fun at, changed, imitated, and the Lingerie football league seemed to be a perverted man's dream. Chicks with barely any clothes on running up and down a field and whining if they broke a nail. I really couldn't see anyone that was a true fan of football watching this mess and that it would be popular for a couple years and then lose interest just like the AFL did. Founder, Mitchell Mortaza has now changed it's focus:
"Last year we had models trying to play football. This year we're gonna have athletes that happen to be beautiful playing football."
Check out video of their recent try outs for the upcoming season.

Jaded Takes On...Fencing!!
Last year, after Eb the Celeb scolded me for ONLY writing about baseball, I conceived an ambitious little project in my mind. I thought, "Wouldn't it be a HOOT if I recorded myself playing different sports?" seeing as I'm SUCH a couch potato.
Well, six months later, the first in a series of "webisodes" featuring yours truly tackling a world of athletes is ready to be released.
And here it is:
Jaded Takes On...Fencing from The Jaded NYer on Vimeo.
I want to thank my good friend Elisheba for arranging the lesson with her son Samuel, Samuel for being such a great coach, and my film crew Video Vixon and Joshen Reborn for making me look good.
It was one of the funnest things I've ever done, and I can't wait to film the next one!!

Ocho Cinco I see yo Booty!!!
Well not really because they blurred it out but I wish they hadn't...lol. I have no idea why he's running around in the woods in the nude but I wish more athletes would. Check it out:

In Case You Missed It...Erykah Badu at the NBA All-Star Saturday Night
I missed everything that is All-Star...I was out at a concert. I heard I didn't miss much though. Heard the dunk contest will make the records books for being one of the worst. It seems the only good thing people had to say was Eryakh performing "You've Got A Friend." Check it out!!!

Miles Austin in the Gatorade Science Lab
I was both proud of and jealous of my homie Boss Lady of Dr. Jay's for getting the opportunity to go to Super Bowl on Gatorade's dime to have a field day with a whole bunch of NFL athletes, especially the fact that she got to sit down with one of my favorite Dallas Cowboys, Miles Austin. In this clip Boss Lady gets the lowdown on his fashion and what he likes to see a woman in. As well as what he's going to be doing this off-season. Check it out!

The Michael Vick Project - Episode 1
"The money made it difficult for me to listen to people...at the end of the day, it was all about me."
"I'm thinking I can get myself out of this situation. Money will get me out of this situation. Just pay my lawyers off, pay the right lawyers and hopefully they'll know somebody who knows somebody who can make this thing go away."
I'm glad Michael Vick decided to do this project. He's very candid, open, and honest about everything. In case you missed the first episode last night check it out!

Chad OchoCinco "Dat Ain't My Baby" LIVE
Nothing this fool does surprises me anymore so I wasn't even entertained all. Although this video does pose several questions. Why was he holding a guitar if he doesn't know how to play, and how can you be so sure "dat ain't yo baby" because he has quite a few by several different women. I mean I ain't one to gossip but I'm just saying. Either way he's releasing an album. What else is new when it comes to athletes these days, but from the sounds of it the album will be for comedic purposes only. It will be titled Chile Please so I'm hoping he doesn't expect anyone to take him seriously. Kinda like when Dave Chappelle recorded "Pee on you." So I look forward to getting a good laugh at whatever else he has up his sleeve. Check the video of his first single live:

Jac of all Nets
I know I'm super late on this but I did not know the Nets had this lil multimedia interstitial content. This chick better watch out because I'm coming for her job...lol. Recently she did an interview with Trey Songz who sang at half-time during a game. Check it out!

I've taken LT's sexy card for this one
I don't know what made LaDanian Tomlinson, the Pro-bowling Running Back of the San Diego Chargers think that making his own song about football and making a dance to it (a la Cupid Shuffle) would be a good idea, but I want him to STOP IT all right now. At one point I thought he was one of the best dressed and most stylish men in the NFL but after this I might have to pull his card.
